Web Habitat, Inc. does not provide any form of support, consulting, or other assistance with the use, care, or operation of any items sold on eBay.
You must contact the manufacter or someone who offers such assistance. Lack of knowledge to properly handle, install, operate, or care for the item may be concidered neglect, and void DOA or any other warranty provided by Web Habitat, Inc.
DOA
Items specifically indicated as covered by Web Habitat, Inc.'s DOA policy may be returned ONLY if the item is DEAD ON ARRIVAL, with no sign of shipping or other damage (see shipping damage below). If there is no physical damage to the item, and no damage occurred during shipping, and the unit simply DOES NOT POWER ON (is dead), upon initial operation - do NOT attempt to repair the unit. Opening/disassembling the unit will void the Web Habitat, Inc. DOA warranty, and we will not refund/replace the unit. Refund/replacement is at the full digression of Web Habitat, Inc. - in most instances, the unit will be replaced, or sent to the manufacturer for repair, if possible.
If an item is DOA (does not power on) when first received:
1) Plug something else (that does NOT use a battery) into the outlet, ensure it runs.
2) Check that the power cord is securely inserted into the unit.
3) Verify there isn't more than one on-switch (many computers have one switch on the back, and another on the front - they must both be "on" for the unit to run).
4) Take a breath - we test 99% of the items BEFORE shipping them to you...
- Are you getting sounds but no image? (Monitor problems)
- Did the stand-by or lock lever get moved? (high-end video cameras).

SHIPPING DAMAGES
If your purchase was under $100, and shipped UPS ground, it may be covered for no additional charge by UPS.
If your purchase was over $100, Web Habitat, inc. does not automatically pay for your additional shipping insurance. If you wish to purchase additional shipping insurance along with the standard shipping and handling, you MUST contact Web Habitat, Inc. in advance of making payment, to include the additional funds for the additional cost of insurance.
If you purchased shipping insurance in addition to standard shipping and handling:
Web Habitat, Inc.'s DOA Policy does not cover any physical damage that your product may incur in transit. If you receive a product that is damaged in transit, follow these instructions:
1. Note any damages on the receipt.
2. Refuse the shipment (if possible) so that it is returned to Web Habitat, Inc. for freight claim processing. For partially damaged shipments or concealed damage, note damage on receipt and refuse damaged item if possible. If damaged item is accepted via UPS/Fed Ex Ground, contact Web Habitat, Inc. for freight claim; if via truck/LTL, the receiver is responsible to place the claim with the carrier within 5 calendar days of receipt. Damage claims are the responsibility of the consignee. The shipping cartons, packing and content should be retained in the same condition as received.
DISCREPANCIES
Upon receipt of merchandise, you have two (2) business days to fax or use any other overnight method to reply in writing as to any discrepancies.
REFUSED ORDERS
Customers will be responsible for a 30% Returns Processing Charge for refused orders in addition to all freight charges. No future orders will be shipped unless this charge is paid.
LOST SHIP
If it has been lost, please contact John@WebHabitat.com.
DROP SHIP
Web Habitat, Inc. will NOT Drop Ship: we will only ship product to the confirmed address on the PayPal account or Credit Card used to make the purchase.
RETURNS
You must have a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number before returning any merchandise to Web Habitat, Inc. Be sure to note our return policies to avoid additional charges or a rejection of your returned item(s).
RMA REQUEST
Before returning a shipment to Web Habitat, Inc., obtain a RETURN METERIAL AUTHORIZATION (RMA) number.

NOTES:
1) Read the eBay Auction CAREFULLY for warranty and return information.

Items indicated as clearance, no return, can not be returned. If the item is defective, contact the manufacturer if warranty applies. If the item was damaged in shipment, and you purchased shipping insurance, follow the instructions at the top of this page.
POLICIES
DOA/defective products are returned for REPLACEMENT ONLY with the same product/model. Deviations from this policy may result in a 30% Returns Processing Service Charge.
Returned product must be in original factory carton with all original packing materials
All miscellaneous materials such as manuals, accessories and cables must be included. If any of these materials are missing, your account will be billed accordingly. If key items are missing, such as software, power supply, or other accessories, the item will not be returnable to Web Habitat, inc.
The Return Authorization number must be on the shipping label, not the carton.
DO NOT WRITE ON THE CARTON - if you do, your only remedy will be repair/replacement from the manufacturer - Web Habitat, Inc. will not be able to assist you in any way.
Returns must be shipped freight prepaid. Products received without an RMA number, freight collect, not approved for return, or in any way not meeting the above criteria, will be refused.
Return Material Authorization numbers are good for seven (7) days only on Domestic orders. Any products returned after the expiration date will be refused.
If the product is found to be non-defective, an inspection fee of at least $25, or 25% per unit, will be billed to your account or deducted from any credit due.
Web Habitat, Inc. credits are based on purchase price or current price, whichever is lowest.
ANY DEVIATION FROM RETURN POLICIES WILL RESULT IN THE PRODUCT BEING RETURNED TO YOU WITH NO CREDIT ISSUED.
WARRANTIES - In General
In general, items sold via eBay are clearance items, non-returnable, and only have a warranty when specifically stated.
Product's warranties are provided by the manufacturer on new items - such warranties must be handled directly with the manufacture, Web Habitat, Inc. can not assist with such warranty claims.
Web Habitat, Inc.
only provides DOA or other warranties when specifically stated in the eBay Auction's details.
